Role Overview:
We are in search of a proactive, organized, and dynamic individual to support Digital Asset at our main office in New York City. This integral position entails aiding the firm's operational objectives, offering guidance to visitors and colleagues, and leading initiatives to enhance the overall employee experience.
The selected candidate will serve as the People Operations Manager responsible for overseeing operational requirements at the US office. Working closely with People Operations Managers in EMEA and APAC, the role involves executing strategic initiatives to scale and optimize operational efficiency in the region.
As part of the Global Operations team, the People Operations Manager collaborates with cross-functional teams to manage internal processes, fostering company growth. The goal is to resolve challenges and devise scalable solutions that drive operational productivity at Digital Asset.
Primary Responsibilities:
- Serve as the main point of contact for the America region, particularly onsite at the New York City office.
- Establish and implement operating process standards, governance structures, and reporting mechanisms, while supporting Operations budgeting and cost management.
- Identify and nurture partnerships with office service providers, focusing on creating new alliances and expanding existing relationships.
- Foster strong working relationships with regional operational and functional managers, enhancing collaboration.
- Develop and enforce company policies consistent with local regulations and culture.
- Drive employee engagement through various strategies such as surveys, discussions, and team events.
- Manage new hire onboarding, employee exits, and employment authorization/visa processes in conjunction with HR and Legal teams.
- Handle office administrative tasks in collaboration with the IT/CSO team.
Key Requirements:
- Possess a Bachelor's degree or equivalent with over 10 years of experience in a similar role.
- Prior experience in managing projects while juggling strategic initiatives and routine tasks.
- Adaptability to thrive in a fast-paced environment, adept at prioritization and managing ad-hoc requests.
- Proven track record of working effectively with cross-functional teams, partners, and vendors to implement strategic initiatives.
- Exceptional organizational skills and clear communication across teams and geographies.
- Strong problem-solving abilities and decision-making in complex scenarios.
- Demonstrate integrity, reliability, and a strong work ethic.
- Effective written and verbal communication skills for engaging internal teams and external stakeholders.
- Fluency in English, proficiency in additional languages is advantageous.
Note:
The salary range for this role is estimated at $110,000 to $125,000, based in our New York City office. Salaries may vary for locations outside the New York tri-state area (New York, New Jersey, and Connecticut).
