About This Role
The role of People Relations Manager entails overseeing intricate employee relations matters, developing HR policies, and providing strategic counsel for a positive and effective work atmosphere.
The position is situated either in our Barcelona or Madrid office, with a hybrid work model and exceptional flexible work practices. Applicants must possess the valid Right to Work in Spain to be eligible for this position.
Responsibilities
Management of complex employee relations cases, which include conflict resolution, disciplinary actions, and performance management.
Implementation of HR policies and procedures to ensure adherence to labor laws and company guidelines.
Provision of guidance and assistance to managers on complex employee relations issues, maintaining compliance with company policies.
Conduct thorough investigations into employee complaints and grievances, striving for fair and prompt resolutions.
Analysis of HR data and trends to identify areas for enhancement, introducing solutions to boost employee satisfaction and retention.
Collaboration with senior leadership to devise and execute HR initiatives aligning with organizational objectives.
Supervision of accurate and timely payroll processing, compliance with local regulations, and addressing employee queries.
Oversight of end-to-end onboarding procedures for new team members, ensuring a seamless integration into the organization.
Assist the recruitment team in tasks such as sourcing, interview scheduling, and other recruitment activities as required.
Supervise general office operations, particularly in absence of the current Office Manager.
Coordination of local employee engagement events to promote a positive work environment.
Aid in managing day-to-day employment affairs, including performance management and terminations when necessary.
Skills and Qualifications
Possession of a Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience.
Proficiency in HR principles, policies, and regulations, ensuring consistency and compliance.
Demonstrated experience in implementing HR initiatives that foster positive organizational change and work culture.
Ability to handle complex employee relations issues, providing expert guidance and support to managers and staff.
Strong analytical skills to evaluate HR metrics and trends, offering strategic initiatives to boost employee engagement and satisfaction.
Efficient management of employee relations matters, along with providing guidance and support to managers and team members.
Strong communication and leadership competencies to influence HR strategies and drive organizational change initiatives.
Compensation
Salary will be commensurate with experience.
