Security Site Lead - Rutledge, TN
The Security Site Lead is responsible for supervising the security team at a designated location to ensure the safety and security of the premises, staff, and visitors. Reporting to the Security Field Supervisor, this role involves coordinating personnel, overseeing security operations, and addressing incidents to safeguard against theft and maintain order.

Primary Responsibilities
Supervision
Oversee and manage daily activities of security officers, ensuring compliance with policies and standards.
Provide guidance and direction to security personnel to foster a cohesive team environment.
Conduct regular briefings and debriefings to communicate expectations and feedback.
Access Control
Monitor and control access to facilities, verifying credentials of personnel and visitors.
Maintain secure access protocols using appropriate tools and technology.
Surveillance
Utilize surveillance equipment to monitor activities and report suspicious behavior promptly.
Patrol and Inspection
Conduct regular patrols to deter security threats and identify risks.
Perform inspections to address security vulnerabilities.
Emergency Response
Respond promptly to alarms and security incidents, following established protocols.
Coordinate with emergency services and adhere to response procedures.
Customer Service
Provide professional assistance and directions to individuals as needed.
Report Writing
Maintain detailed logs of security activities and prepare incident reports for review.
Ensure accuracy and completeness in all incident reports submitted.
Collaboration
Work collaboratively with security personnel and other departments to enhance overall security measures.
Communicate effectively with team members and management regarding security issues.
Qualifications
- 2 years of security, law enforcement, or military experience preferred.
- High school diploma or equivalent; additional security training is advantageous.
- Demonstrated expertise in security guard duties or related roles.
- Strong observational skills and attentiveness to detail.
- Ability to handle emergency situations calmly and efficiently.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
- Basic computer proficiency for logging and reporting tasks.
- Physical fitness to perform security duties for extended periods.
Additional Requirements
- State Security Guard License (where applicable) - Valid
- State Driver's License - Valid
- Preferably an honorable discharge from military service.
- First Aid and CPR certification is beneficial.
- Flexible availability for varied shifts, including weekends and holidays.
- Successful completion of a Nationwide Background Check.
