Your Duties Will Encompass:

In this role reporting to the VP, Creative Lab, you will be a key figure contributing to a high-impact website and content initiatives that directly support the Marketing team's objectives and Circle's corporate strategic goals. Specifically, you will:

Activities Include:

  • Developing the storytelling strategy for our website to steer user engagement and enhance narrative coherence across web pages through projects, optimization, and content creation.
  • Oversight of content ideation and planning for ongoing website redesign projects to ensure alignment with user preferences.
  • Crafting UX copy for various web components to enhance user experience.
  • Collaborating with design and engineering teams to establish content hierarchy and user pathways.
  • Directly managing an IC Content Strategist, nurturing their growth and leading the impact of the Content Strategy function within the Marketing domain and beyond.
  • Collaborating with the internationalization team to maintain high-quality product experiences on Circle's digital platforms for diverse global audiences.
  • Defining content standards to guide internal partners in generating clear, compelling, and on-brand web content across different page types.
  • Curating and updating taxonomy documentation to bolster content organization and search efforts.
  • Providing writing support for a range of website content, including UX copy, social media, events, product launches, and more.
  • Contributing to content strategy for the company's intranet alongside various stakeholders.
  • Working closely with internal partners, such as marketing, product, and legal teams to manage diverse content initiatives.
  • Leveraging writing prowess and understanding of user experience principles to craft engaging product copy.
  • Collaborating with peers to allocate resources effectively based on company objectives in planning cycles.
  • Evaluating content channels and materials for consistency and effectiveness in partnership with Marketing, Design, and Strategy counterparts.

Expected Proficiencies:

  • Over 12 years of content strategy experience across external agencies and corporate environments, with a focus on branding and marketing.
  • More than 5 years in marketing leadership roles demonstrating strong performance.
  • Possession of a Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical background, with a Master's degree as an added advantage.
  • Ability to influence stakeholders across diverse groups.
  • Strong critical thinking abilities and exceptional written and verbal communication aptitude.
  • Enthusiasm for learning about emerging technologies that reshape financial landscapes.
  • Familiarity with tools like Slack, Coda, Asana, Apple MacOS, and GSuite.
  • Comfort in crafting content for various channels like web, email, and digital interfaces.
  • Proficiency in information architecture practices and usability principles for global audiences.
